Harry Souttar (25) is a pivotal player for his country Australia. He has been in good form, scoring a number of vital goals in his latest internationals, but still his time at Leicester must be said, so far, to have been a massive dissappointment, not being able to cement a place after his move from Stoke.
It was talk of him leaving in the summer, but no move happened and being fourth in the packing order after Jannik Vestergaard, Wout Faes and Conor Coady has seen this campaign as troubled time for Souttar, not really getting much game time, limited to just a couple of ..read more

Leicester came out with a team as we all could have predicted, back to basics, and with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Wilfred Ndidi in this team, you have a much better midfield, than using Cesare Casadei and Yunus Akgun.
Leicester came out with a positive approach from start and pressed West Bromwich back, but still not able to get the final finish in place.
First half ended in a 0-0, with Stephy Mavididi as the one coming closest with a shot in the post. It could have and should have been a goal to Leicester, looking at the chances and domination in outfield play. West Br ..read more

Jamie Vardy back on the bench for this one, giving start to Kelechi Iheanacho. Also pushed out are Conor Coady, Cesare Casadei and Yunus Akgun. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Wilfred Ndidi and James Justin back in from start.
The bench have no major surprises, but by leaving out Patson Daka and Dennis Praet, two proven internationals both cleared for action you have the picture.

Yuki Abe and Shinji Okazaki both had a good influence when they arrived at Leicester. Their honesty and behaviour makes them ideal team players as they do their job with special commitment and desire.
Abe arrived in 2010, at a time when the club had a lot of rotation and changes, but still he made steady performances and became a trusted first teamer. Abe made 52 league appearances and scored 2 goals, one of them in a 4-2 win vs. Ipswich, back in 2011.
Shinji Okazaki was a signing from Bundesliga club Mainz, and the fee of £7million was a bargain, looking at the ..read more

The business plan of football is not always easy to understand, and why a player move to one club instead of another could sometimes be clueless. Patson Daka (25) has been in limbo every since joining Leicester for a fee of £23million back in June 2021.
At the time of his arrival, among the hottest property in European football and a player Leicester fans believed would challenge both Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho for that single position up front.

Leicester were up against the bottom team and Enzo Maresca decided to make changes. Starts were given to Casadei, Yunus, Coady, Fatawu, Vardy and Winks, coming in for Dewsbury-Hall, Ndidi, McAteer, Justin, Iheanacho and Choudhury.
The balance was of course something to address as everything looked far from controlled, and a number of terrible choices from Leicester players in the start of the game could have seen Sheffield Wednesday leading 2-0 early on, but they showed with style why they are bottom of the table, missing massive opportunities.

Leicester will play Sheffield Wednesday away tomorrow. Hopefully continue to just keep on winning as Leicester are the true favourites in this fixture, as they come up against a former familier face, Chris Powell, currently assistant for new coach Danny Röhl.
Leicester are top, Wednesday bottom. 36 points between the two teams, as just 6 points have found it’s way into the Wednesday bag, Leicester collecters of 42.
Leicester will be at their strongest getting Harry Winks back in the line-up, after being out and suspended for too many yellows, no they are all gone, and h ..read more
