It is now almost a year since I announced that Wessex Tubas was planning to develop a new compensated BBb Bass and got a lot of responses from players in bands at all levels to try and give feedback - much appreciated! I am pleased to say that development is now well underway. We had a big technical problem earlier in the year, but have now resolved and we are now near the stage where just a few more tweaks and I think we will have a prototype to show and for you to try. Meet Miss Li - she is the lady who ensures the quality of Wessex production ongoing throughout the year, our eyes on the spot at the factory in China. She was appointed specifically responsible for Wessex quality control in 2019, it was her that helped keep production standards high when we could not get to the factory in person during Covid travel restrictions.
