It has been a long time since I have sat down to write a blog on my dolly site. We have been travelling around and seeing the beautiful sights of Aus. but we are now home for a few weeks and I am loving being in the one space for a little while. Little baby Reborn Doll Lulu by Jen Printy is now finished. She is very cute with her big blue eyes and soft dark brown curly hair. She has 3/4 arms and legs and a soft cuddly body. She has a medium complexion and I have mottled and veined her skin to give her a 3D effect with layers of paints. Little Lulu has a sweet little teddy pacifier and has a magnet in her head to keep the pacifier in place. She can also have her thumb in her mouth and looks as if she is sucking her thumb. I have been quite busy over the last few months and have managed to complete some Baby Reborn Dolls to sell. I enjoy creating these little dolls and see them take their individual appearance. I have started trying to paint hair on some of the dolls - a little different and a big challenge. I will keep using mohair at the moment while I am practicing the painting. I have set up a room so that the dolls for sale are on display and can be nursed and cuddled.
