We’ve just returned home after a wonderful mini break in Stilbaai, staying in a beautiful beach house overlooking the ocean and surrounded by nothing but coast and fynbos. With vast sliding doors that opened up onto a wrap-around deck, this slice of heaven left us all feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Easter is just around the corner and this year I am really putting in the effort to make it a memorable weekend for the kids. Over the weekend we were invited to Steenberg to try the new Al Fresco Boxes from their signature restaurant Tryn. In previous years this wouldn’t be such a big deal, but with Covid and social distancing, all interactions outside of the safe space that is home feel almost “naughty”.
