Hi! It has been quite a while since I’ve been on here. I had an accident back in February from alpine ski racing and ended up with a concussion and a sprained neck. After months of active recovery, I am now doing much better and can go back to most of the things I was able to do before the accident. On another note, I finished up school a few weeks ago and I couldn’t even begin to tell you how excited I was for summer. I have to say, 2019 was quite the year. There were lots of ups and downs both in my life and all over the world. The transition into 2020 feels like a big one. Not only is it a new year, but it is a new decade, and I sense it is going to be a very different one. The 2010’s was a decade of discovery. Technology developed rapidly and contributed to the great advance of science and medicine. Deleting social media was one of the best decisions I’ve made, yet also one of the hardest. While I knew I’d be missing out on a lot of things in terms of my social life, I had a feeling that it would the best option for me- and it was.
