As a matter of fact, it is hard to come across a physicist with a strong affinity for poetry. Fortunately for you, I am one. My name is Akinyemi AbdulMalik. My journey to poetry was inspired by a girl I saw on TV long before I chose to study Physics in the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). Although I have a vague recollection of her words, the feeling I got hereafter still..

What would you have done if you were greeted with the "Page not found" message instead of this blog post?
Let me guess.
You'd have pressed the back button, and probably never visit my website again.
And if you had stumbled upon my website on Google and quickly returned to the search results page because of a 404 error, Google will also punish me on your behalf.
Your jumping back to the search results page tells Google that my website does not have relevant value-adding result for your keyword query.
As a result, my search ranking will sink to the bottom. ?

This post you are reading won't just appear randomly on your search engine.
This is because when people search for things on Google for example, they do so with specific intents.
As a blogger who crave success, it is not enough to publish contents (regardless of quantity or quality), you need to target the intents of your audience in your blog posts, so that when they search for certain things online, Google will remember to index your page.
This idea of preempting the intentions of your audience is basically what keyword research is about.
In this post, you will learn how to find and select t ..read more

For whatever reason you decided to start blogging, one thing is certain: YOU DIDN'T PLAN TO WASTE YOUR TIME WRITING BLOGS THAT NOBODY READS.
For us bloggers, traffic is everything. And what better way is there to get traffic than through search engines?
The latest data shows that Google processes over 99,000 searches every single second (Internet Live Stats, 2022).
Now imagine you have a website that sells beaded handbags. And for every 50,000 people that search Google for beaded handbags per month, your website shows up on the front results page. Again, if your page ranks high on the fro ..read more

Running a website is one way to tell Google and other search engines to crawl and index your pages.
The only problem is that Google and its search engine friends only send spiders to your website when they feel like it - except maybe you send a personal invitation to them.
To invite Google is to submit your website to Google. This helps Google find your website faster even if it has no backlinks.
In this article, I'll explain how you can submit your website to Google and other search engines without breaking a sweat.
The whole process is as simple as shown in the map below.

Are you tired of blogging day and night with nothing to show for it?
Have you tried your hands on different tactics you found on the internet, but your blog is still not getting the visibility it deserves?

Well, Neil Patel, Michael Arrington, Brian Clark, Darren Rowse, and all other popular bloggers were once in your shoes.

Do you ever wonder why we get shocked upon witnessing or hearing the news of another's death, why we cry, despite having absolute certitude that everyone will die?
Just yesterday, I was going through my phone book and came across my late teacher's number. My eyes linger on his name for a while and my thumb shook at the prospect of dialing his line. I wanted to confirm if he was truly dead, and I seriously hoped that he'd call my name from the other end and rebuke me for all the times I ignored his calls. More than his recent death, this ensuing feeling grieved me.

The world is in chaos… and the only remnant of order there is left is being preserved by religion. But we have abused religion long enough to ignore this fact.
Yes, we have laws. But laws are formulated within the boundaries of religion(s).
This is not just because the lawmakers are adherents of one religion or another; nor because the stronghold of human religious rights are too sacred to be breached. But also because the lawmakers know very well that the influence religion has on humans could strip law completely of its powers.
Without doubt, the law respects and employs reli ..read more

Warren Buffet once advised graduating students at the University of Florida’s school of Business to learn and practice good habits early in life. According to him, "the chains of habit are too light to be felt until they are too heavy to be broken."
In our dogged pursuit of progress, we are constantly faced with choices that determine our trajectory. Usually, our habits inform these choices; as such, we are forever trapped in an unending game of habit change – sometimes we win; most times we lose. That's how complicated the concept of habit is.
This complication is what forms the core ..read more

Atomic Habits is probably the most comprehensive and practical guide on how to create good habits and break bad ones. With convincing arguments, the book preaches a one-step-at-a-time approach to habit formation, as opposed to a quick-fix approach that focuses solely on goals. For what it's worth, here is a detailed review and a free download link.
While reading, I highlighted certain areas of the book, which I believe to be a summary of the most important messages of the Atomic Habits.
However concise, this summary may not provide the in-depth knowledge required to drive a ..read more

The kite runner book review
Khaled Hosseini's narrative brilliance shines in unexpected ways with this masterpiece. It is quite difficult to believe this is a debut novel.
BOOK SUMMARY
The kite runner tells the story of Amir, a boy who lived with his father, Baba, in an affluent neighborhood in the northern part of Kabul, Afghanistan. As it was common among the Pashtuns, the family had servants of a lesser ethnic minority, Ali and his son, Hassan, who were Hazaras.
Hassan and Amir lost their mothers at birth under different circumstances and had to be breastfed by the same H ..read more
