I am much more motivated to read during the summer. Just in the past week, I have finished Lessons in Chemistry and also did an advance copy read for a friend who writes legal thrillers. I am now into “Drowning” the second book from TJ Newman (falling) Just don’t read it on an airplane! It’s so good!

Sunday- fly home (rest day)
We flew home from Chicago but not before I got in my Peloton core and barre class. I have to unpack my bags as soon as I get home or it drives me crazy. How about you? Runfessions and Confessions May 2023
I confess and runfess…
No one was more surprised than I was to take a bite into my “veggie dumplings” at a trendy Chicago spot only to discover that they were in fact pork dumplings. Having been a vegetarian since I was 12, I don’t even know what meat tastes like but I knew that no veggies tasted like that! There was a time that I would have made somewhat of a scene upon a discovery of this magnitude. I ..read more

It’s been a while since I’ve done a currently post. Maybe it’s the spring flowers and the sunnier days that are helping to motivate me to write more again. As I sit here in my new screened-in porch, I thought I would share what I am up to currently, May 2023.
Currently…May 2023

I jumped into Lessons In Chemistry book this week and it’s a fun read so far. I’ve seen so many people reading it on planes and trains and beaches. I knew I needed to start it before it comes out as an Apple TV series this fall. I pre-ordered the new Elin Hildebrand book that come out in June so I’ve ..read more
