When you’re living a transient life, moving every two or three years, one of the things that can be tricky is making friends. Believe me when I say, it isn’t always the easiest thing to do! Unfortunately, there are a few stereotypes surrounding being a military wife, lots of which are untrue, which mean many of us feel that we’re better off ‘staying out of it’ and being a loner. Writing this blog has taken a back seat for the past few months whilst I focussed on my day job and my family. Goodness, life has been busy! Finally, things have slowed down, and I have time to concentrate on Strength Behind the Strong and my passion for making sure that people like me are as supported as they can be not just in times of crisis but in their everyday lives too.
