I’m SO excited to finally share this project that has literally been a year in the making. Look how little Greyson was when we first found this hutch! We love entertaining, so we have accumulated many party supplies over the years that we just don’t have the storage for in our kitchen. I’ve always wanted to DIY an old piece of furniture, so when we saw this on the side of the road (ha!) next to our house, I knew this was the perfect piece! Funny enough, we didn’t originally get this. Another neighbor picked it up first and I was bummed when I didn’t see it still sitting out there on our way h ..read more

Mini Target Haul

Turn on your JavaScript to view content I went in for pillows, I left with no pillows and still somehow spent $200. You know the story! You go to Target and let Target tell you what you need. I found some cute Christmas decor I couldn’t pass up from the Studio McGee line as well as some other little stocking stuffer ideas, so figured I’d compile everything in a post and share here! I love decorating with these red berries for the colder months. We have a wreath on our front door with similar berries and it always just screams Christmas to me. Found these from the Heartb & Hand line for on ..read more

I’m baaaack! It has been quite a minute since I have written a blog post. Pandemic living has certainly brought it’s share of challenges, but I am looking to get “back into it” (as my husband always says whenever we start working out again after going on a hiatus) and pick up my blog right where I left off! Over the past six months, a lot has changed. Most recently, we added a beautiful new addition to our family! McKenna Grace was born on August 22, 2021 at 9:09 pm after 35 LONG hours of labor. Her birth story is a post for another day! Since being home with her, we had our fair share of chal ..read more

Our favorite: Zucchini Muffins

Greyson has been obsessed with zucchini muffins for the past year. He eats one or two for breakfast at least 4 days a week. Maybe obsession is an understatement? I always try to have some on hand for his breakfast and these freeze very well, so I can make a full or double batch at a time. I also like that he is able to get at least veggies in his system in the morning, even if it’s in the form of a muffin. These muffins are very easy to make, especially if you have a food processor, and are oh so yummy. I love that he can help me make them, too! My favorite part about this recipe is that it is ..read more

Easter – 2021 Edition

I’m trying to be somewhat more prepared this year with getting my posts out BEFORE the actual holiday, so here we go! Easter 2020 was a complete blur. We didn’t spend it with friends or family for obvious reasons. I’m hoping that Easter 2021 will be at least a little different. This year, I’m trying to keep it simple and purchase things for Greyson that I probably would have gotten for him anyway, but now I have an excuse to give it to him! Or at least the Easter Bunny does. Here are some things the Easter Bunny will be leaving in Greyson’s Easter basket – toddler edition! Basket: I purchased ..read more

Greyson: Two Years + Fall Style

Turn on your JavaScript to view content Fall is quickly becoming my favorite season. This summer was so unbearably hot, that I found myself dressing in sport shorts and tanks all day. I realized I do enjoy a nice layer and longer sleeves and of course all the fun fall things. With fall gearing up, I needed to get Greyson some new clothes to get him ready. I love H&M clothing for kids because it is simple, affordable, and stylish. These are the things that I snagged for Greyson. I got a few good basic t-shirts for myself too I’ll share later this week! Joggers: I love H&M’s joggers for ..read more

Turn on your JavaScript to view content Happy Friday! I have another fun week of Friday Faves for you! High Noon: My husband’s friend told him to try the Pineapple High Noon as a refreshing summer drink and let me tell you! It is the BEST drink I have tried in awhile. It’s 100 calories and has no added sugar. It’s a hard seltzer and considering the fact that I have been loving seltzer recently, this hits the spot! We have tried peach, black cherry, and lime and the pineapple is still by far my fave! GEE*Band (Make Your Great): Ever since my friend sent me my first GEE*Band a couple of weeks a ..read more

DIY Manicure at Home

Turn on your JavaScript to view content I love a good mani/pedi. I am also not very talented in the DIY nail department, however, this quarantine gave me plenty of time to practice. I did a gel manicure earlier this year and it ruined my nails. I’ve tried dip powder and traditional gel manicures and they make my nails look great for two weeks, but the minute I remove the gel/powder, my nails are brittle, thin, and break easily. I recently discovered Londontown nail polish which is made with oils and botanicals that help to fortify the nail and make it healthier and stronger and it has been a t ..read more

Turn on your JavaScript to view content Happy Friday! This has been a great week at home with my little guy. The last couple of weeks had been tough because I think some of his molars are starting to come in. His appetite is back and he is as happy as a clam! I also discovered Outer Banks on Netflix and I can’t stop watching! Beginning this week, I am going to switch my Friday Faves post to every other week, so I can focus on writing other posts. You guys have loved the Friday Faves series and I love doing it, but I want to make sure that I can get other content out there for you! Outdoor Sol ..read more

Turn on your JavaScript to view content I think it’s safe to say that most people celebrated the 4th a little bit differently this year. Even though things are starting to opening up, we are still being cautious in our household. We’re keeping things low-key this year, but I still whipped up some fun 4th treats enjoyed at home! Chalkola sent me a chalkboard and THIRTY chalk markers to use to design something fun! I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to try my hand at some crafts for the 4th of July. I’ve used chalk boards for my wedding and baby shower, but I thought I would try som ..read more
