Nestled in the heart of Montreal, our most recent project reveal showcases a stunning two-story pied-à-terre condo. Our clients’ vision for this space was clear. They desired a comfortable, inviting, and versatile condo that could effortlessly accommodate family and friends while providing all the comforts of home within the bustling city. Despite the breathtaking views from this beautiful penthouse, builder-grade condos often lack character. Our mission was to infuse this space with the warmth and style it deserved, creating a luxurious oasis that our clients would cherish for years to come ..read more

The introduction of AI technology has sparked both excitement and contemplation within the design community. As an established interior design firm with over 15 years of experience, we find ourselves questioning if stunning AI-generated images really capture the real essence of interior design.
Design studios are increasingly embracing artificial intelligence to build beautiful visual representations of their ideas. These images, meticulously constructed by algorithms, offer a glimpse into the designer’s imagination, yet they’re also leaving a big part of what we do out of the equation ..read more

The Mandate
The original scope for our Hamptons à Sorel project included renovating three bathrooms and furnishing the home from scratch. The home was dated but in pristine condition. It was tastefully decorated by a designer but needed a major update. Having to work with a property that was already covered in stunning, high-quality finishes is surprisingly challenging because we have to carefully decide what is worth keeping, restoring or replacing.
There was no question that it needed a major update. All of the rooms had matching floral wallpaper, drapery and bedding. There was ..read more

“Home for the holidays” has taken on a whole new meaning in 2020. While celebrations may look different this year, some things never change – a welcoming home, glittering lights, and family dinners around a beautifully set table that’s as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the taste buds. Here are some of our favourite tips for setting a festive scene.
While Canadian winters are cold and white, there’s a world of vibrant colour and texture that’s as close as your nearest fruit market. Dried or fresh berries and seasonal fruit such as clementines, pomegranates and figs are a favourite ..read more

We first met Justine and Mathieu in 2016 when they renovated and furnished the main floor of their NDG home. With great synergy and style, we were thrilled when they called us three years later to help them build their dream home. They had an opportunity to purchase a lot in Lorraine, so they decided to take the leap and move their young family of four out of the city. Today we’ll be sharing some design details from our Urban to Suburban project with a full home walkthrough!
We originally received a preliminary layout that was drafted by an architect. Our clients fe ..read more

To date, 2020 has put many things into perspective. We have had the time to isolate and spend much more time in our homes causing us to reflect on how we live and use our homes. Indeed, being catapulted into a new lifestyle – particularly when change happens quickly – really makes us question and evaluate the choices we have made.
Having a versatile home is more important now than ever. Life has been known to throw us curveballs, and adapting to them is nothing new. Whether it is an adult child who decides to now move back home or a change in physical abilities as we age, there w ..read more

Our Mount Pleasant project, a modern farmhouse design, was completed last May. This project had a major transformation! You probably wouldn’t believe us if we told you that this original kitchen was multi-coloured. Here’s a picture to prove it.
THE CLIENTS
Our clients purchased their first home that they knew from the very start would be a full gut renovation. They took on quite a substantial renovation, which was very ambitious of them for their first big purchase, and we were happy to be a part of it.
These new homeowners were so easy going. The concept that we initially ..read more

We’ve been enjoying time at home with our children, but can’t stop looking at all the small things we’d love to change in our home. This year we’re all celebrating a very special Mother’s Day. A day where moms around the world are confined to their homes for both their safety and the safety of their families. These women are creatively coming up with activities, home-schooling their children, feeding their families three times a day (or more!!), baking bread, and some are even still juggling in work. Sure, maybe they’re indulging in some wine (a little too often) but this year there will be no spa days, no days off and if they hear “I’m hungry” one more time, they might just crack.
This is a year more than any year that th ..read more
