Amidst Covid 19 I moved to Netherlands in Dec 2020 from Germany. I am on a new project new location same job. I am still settling in. However Week ends and Xmas Holidays are time to freakout on my bike. I am exploring the outskirts of the town in which I am put up. It is a small town ship called Nunspeet. It is surrounded by green forest area on one side and a massive river Veluwemeer on other side. First impression is – it is a nice quiet green town which I always cherished to live in. Winter is in already, temperature being around 5 ‘c and day time is getting shorter and shorter. I am still ..read more

Nature is amazingly colourful. Contrast between Autumn and Summer and winter is mesmerising. It is almost end of autumn now. When I go around I see the golden glow every where. This place is surrounded by vineyards. Autumn in a thick forest or maple grove gives a completely different view compared to vineyard. Vineayrd is carpet of colours, where as forest is tunnel of colours. Enjoy the colours of Autumn. No caption is necessary I guess ..read more

Name is all about identity. A lot I would say. More than a lot. Today on 5th Sept 2020 I strongly announce it.  What is in a name ? This phrase is from Shakespeare’s famous Romeo & Juliet. I have not read it. Of course none of Shakespeare’s works I read.  Today  It is like end of the road, hitting the wall, a stubborn wall.  You might wonder what happened to MBL, so far everything was good. What is he writing ???? How MBL is evolved: What is MBL ? A lot people asked this question. When they see this three letter word they do not get it. Is it a name ? what kind of name ..read more

This is the path I pass through every time I go for grocery shopping or for my shuttle or for my cycling. When I first saw this tree, it was just a green tree like any other tree and did not impress me. It was late summer. It was not much impressive as well during fall. I did not care much about it. Before few weeks, as I was passing by the same tree, It posed a pleasant view and surprise. It was in full bloom, full of white bunches of flower. It was looking very beautiful like a Saalankrita Navavadhu. So nice. I just Clicked few snaps and again did not care to check what kind of tree it was ..read more

Probing for next hike. I was probing for my next weekend destination. Best way is to browse the travel blogs of various individuals. When you search the Google, you get to see portals of many commercial travel agencies, which are are less use and uninteresting. So I look beyond these top rated web sites. After a few unsuccessful search, you will find some treasure houses with beautiful pictures and information. These blogs provide most authenticate information. Other authentic information are available from official sites of respective city authorities. Wikipedia, of course provides ..read more

Heidelberg is a town on the Neckar River in southwestern Germany. It’s known for venerable Heidelberg University, founded in the 14th century. Gothic sanctuary church towers over the cafe-lined Market Square, a town square in the Old Town (Altstadt). The red-sandstone ruins of Heidelberg Castle, a noted example of renaissance architecture, stand on Königstuhl hill. On the base of the castle, the fine river Neckar flows along. Across the Neckar there lies an arched bridge called Karl Theodor. This bridge takes you to the famous “Philosophers walk” hill. I had difficulty in pinpointing the ..read more
