After being in the house for the past two months, we decided to go for a little outdoor adventure where we would be able to respect social distancing while enjoying and connecting with nature.  We didn’t want to drive too far and decided to explore something that was right in our backyard. Kelly Springs is a popular Floridian spring located only 30 minutes from the house. We were kind of expecting the Spring to be overcrowded since it was the first weekend after “deconfinement,” so we made the decision to go to King Landing. It’s located right by Kelly Springs and Rock Springs, but it is ..read more

When is the best time to visit Florida?

“When is the best time to visit Florida?” is one of the questions that I get asked the most.  Even though it is called the Sunshine State and people probably think perfect blue skies and weather all year long and cocktails on the white sand beaches, that’s not always the case. Florida has  typical tropical weather, and the weather will determine the high and low seasons.  When is Hurricane Season? It starts in June and ends in November, but the peak of Hurricane Season is July to September. You will want to avoid visiting Florida during this time.  First of all, the heat is almost unbearable ..read more

I had the chance to go to the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge preview, and even though I am not a huge Star Wars fan, I am so glad I got to see this amazing land. I do understand the hype around it and now get why all the Star Wars fans were raving about this place before even seeing it.  The 14 acre-spanning land is opening in Orlando on August 29th, but it has already been open for a couple of months at Disneyland in California. The galaxy far, far away has a lot to offer, and I put some tips together after seeing it myself to help you get the best out of your visit – especially since it will most ..read more

While visiting and discovering Downtown Miami, we stayed at the Intercontinental Miami. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Miami. When we first pulled up to the lobby, it was a “wow” moment. The hotel is built with marble, the entrance is bright and inviting, and the staff is amazing. As soon as you pull up to the Intercontinental’s front doors, you definitely feel like you are about to have a wonderful time.  Everyone is so nice and is committed to making sure that you are having a great time and that you don’t need anything. I really like that you can text them to bring you stuff ..read more
