From SVU lacrosse as a defensive midfielder to realizing he had a gift for digital content creation he started filming SVU lacrosse and football which led to opportunities at Navy, Loyola and eventually with the PLL. Lauren Lea grew in Baltimore, Maryland and idolized players like Paul Rabil and Kyle Harrison. However she never really had role models that were female athletes. Josh Melton finished his recent Junior lacrosse season as the team leader in points with 118, netting 66 goals and dishing out a team-high 52 assists. His average of 4.88 points per game ranked 34th in Division III lacrosse while his mark of 2.13 assists per game ranked 45th. Melton accumulated double-digit points three times in 2019, including a season-best 11 against State University of New York at Geneseo on March 23. Matt Bocklet played defense for the 2007 NCAA D1 Championship team at Johns Hopkins University. After playing for 1 season with the MLL Bayhawks, Bocklet was traded to the Denver Outlaws where he played for 11 seasons. A captain of all three championship teams, the franchise’s all-time leader with 144 games played, a five-time MLL All-Star, No. 3 on MLL’s all-time ground balls list. Dempsey grew up playing multiple sports following the example of her older brother who played two sports in college and both of her parents who each played 3 sports through college. Dempsey started playing lacrosse in 5th grade along with track and field, ice hockey and field hockey. Hockey gave her the mental toughness, quick hands, strength and the team dynamic to really elevate her game as a lacrosse player. John started his lacrosse days as a youth playing for the Six Nations Arrows lacrosse program. In 2001 he started his professional indoor lacrosse career with the Washington Power which was then sold to Kroenke Enterprises and became the Colorado Mammoth. In 2002 he moved from DC to Denver and spent 15 years with the Mammoth.
