Following the disastrous deluge in Nagpur which flooded many prominent areas of the city, Nagpur Municipal Corporation has started repair works at the Sitabuldi’s Mor Bhavan bus depot. The main bus stop was filled with water and mud during the rains that slashed Nagpur. The Municipal Commissioner inspected the bus stop on April 12 and issued orders for levelling the area including the entry and exist on both sides.  The entire Mor Bhavan Bus base stop was levelled using hot-mix plant machinery. Vasant P Bhurse (56), a rider on a Hinda Activa died in an accident, which occurred on VNIT-Bajaj Nagar Square road around 1 pm on Saturday. The speeding Duke motorcycle hits the Activa when Bhurse was taking a right turn from Bajaj through a road divider.  According to local people the bike coming from VNIT Gate, Abhyankar Nagar was being driven at a very high speed. The Nagpur Police have achieved a breakthrough in the case of theft at a smart traffic booth, arresting three suspects. The Crime Branch Unit 3 apprehended the individuals and also recovered goods valued at Rs. 2.5 lakh from them.
