Virtual Cache Credit    So in January of this year I was awarded a Virtual Cache as part of a limited release of Virtuals to be created between January 17, 2024 and January 17, 2025. Only 4,000 cache owners were given this opportunity to hide a Virtual Cache.  I was pretty excited to receive this, and already knew where I would place this. Back in August 2015 while in Vegas for the Magic Live Convention, I went to a virtual called "Las Vegas Money Makers"  It was a large bronze statue of Siegfried and Roy and one of their tigers. It was in front of the Mirage Hotel ..read more

Las Vegas So I went to Vegas for the second time this year, at the beginning of August for my Favorite Magic Convention called "Magic LIVE"  It was an awesome 8 days and I was only able to grab a couple of Earthcaches one day. It was 42 degrees outside most of the time we were there!! We stayed inside as much as possible. Lol The Orleans is the hotel we stay at during the convention as it has all the things we need in one place. Besides being a huge hotel and casino with several bars and lounges, and restaurants of every flavor within, it also has a food court, a 52 lane bowling ..read more

Renton, Washington Trip Had a close up gig in Renton, Washington with a client that I performed for last year. They enjoyed me so much, they decided to bring me back. Last year I only did an hour of walkaround magic and this year they had me do 2 hours. I only did 5 caches on this trip, 1 traditional, 1 Letterbox, 1 virtual, and 2 puzzle cache with one of them being a challenge cache.  The Virtual cache was a large hole in the ground. lol It was literally a hole in the ground: Starting in the 1960s, post-industrial and derelict landscapes including surface mines, pits, landfills, quar ..read more

Fraser Valley Cache Bash #7 Was able to go find a few caches for the annual FVCB. This is an annual event where several caches are released on the same day, and many cachers head out seeking them and trying to be the first to find them. The caches for the Cache bash are from Pitt Meadows to Hope. This year I got 3 FTF's and 2 STFs before I had to come back home and get ready for a show.  One of them was a cool gadget type of cache as you can see in the picture. More of a field puzzle to get the log book out of the bottle. PS: On the right hand side of this webpage is where you c ..read more

Missing TB??? Got a Message from a cacher that one of my Travel Bugs that was Marked missing back in 2022 was actually found in a geocache. My TB was started in Panama when I was there in 2011. Here is the TB description: This TB started in a little roadside store in Farallon, Panama near the resort we were staying at, he is a keychain. I built a cache for others coming to the resort to find as the nearest cache was some distance away. This is where he started his Journey from, and then he flew back to Canada with me. He traveled from Panama to BC, then across Canada to New Brunswick and the ..read more

Bella Bella Trip This Christmas Season I got to do a fair bit of travelling to shows. I flew up to Bella Bella for a show. It is 145km North of the top of Vancouver Island, which is about 480km away from me.  If you recall from last months blog I was sad as I looked on geocaching and there was no caches in Bella Bella.  After a quick flight, I got picked up at the airport, and got a quick tour of the town. This was the actual plane I flew up in, not the one above. lol Water Taxi Well as it turns out, after flying there, and after my tour of Be ..read more
