This visit to Christmas Town Busch Gardens Williamsburg was a hosted visit by Busch Gardens. All thoughts and opinions I write are my very own. Do you have a favorite season? I know many people would say Christmas for many different reasons. I can honestly say summer is my favorite season, but Christmas is my favorite time of year, if that makes any sense. The magic that surrounds Christmas is always so heartwarming and makes me feel extra grateful for everything I have been given. We started our Christmas season this year by visiting Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Virginia. E ..read more

This post is sponsored and hosted by RV On The Go and Thousand Trails. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Last weekend my little family had a quick getaway to Williamsburg, Virginia and even though it was freezing, we had such an amazing time. We were graciously hosted by Thousand Trails Campground during our meticulously planned weekend, and it was the perfect place for all of us. We planned our Williamsburg weekend to go to Busch Gardens annual ChristmasTown installation, and to see Colonial Williamsburg. The campground had everything that a family could ask for, pools, playground, putt ..read more

We received these tickets from Coastal Credit Union through the NC Blogger Network, in exchange for sharing our experience. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This weekend we had the privilege to experience the NC Courage Women's Soccer team play Sky Blue from the VIP section courtesy of Coastal Credit Unionvia The NC Blogger Network. Coastal Credit Union was having their annual Family and Friends Day so Caroline and I got to start our time at WakeMed Soccer Park strolling through a cotton candy scented fair ground atmosphere. We stopped and watched kids play carnival games and ride the ri ..read more

Bartaco North Hills Raleigh, NC Review

This was a hosted dinner, however, all thoughts and opinions are mine or my husband's own. Last Friday, Morgan and I celebrated our anniversary a little later than planned, but ultimately ended up being one of our best anniversary dinners to date. We dropped Caroline with her grandma (for her first spend the night :) ) and headed up to Raleigh to spend National Taco Day at Bartaco in North Hills Shopping Center. As you may well know by now, or if you're new to SPP then just know, tacos are my absolute favorite food in the whole world. There is hardly anything I won't eat in a taco. Pair some ..read more

Our first home remodel was taking our coat closet and turning it into the farmhouse pantry of my Pinterest dreams! I knew the closet was too big to waste on just a boring old space to hang jackets, so I scrolled through all the pantry makeovers I could find and landed on the biggest inspiration I knew I could follow to create the pantry I wanted. Ashley from Little Glass Jar blog has the easiest pantry makeover post to follow so I used hers as guidelines for remodeling our coat closet. See her farmhouse pantry makeover here. When we moved in we knew right off we would need a little more kitc ..read more

How To DIY Paint Your Front Door

A person's front door is like one of those first impressions cliche's. You know the "only have one chance to make a first impression" sayings that everyone jokes about but is absolutely true. While I am a firm believer in "do not judge a book by it's cover, that cover definitely has a way of getting your attention if it's crazy, or pretty, or just out there enough. So when we moved into our home I knew I needed to amp up our entry as soon as possible because it was all black shutters, black door, and it just felt BLAH. I was definitely a bit nervous going into the project seeing as to how it ..read more

A Summer Style Staple Every Girl Needs

If there is one thing I love about summer fashion it is the ability to wear as much white as I want with no shame in being out of style or season. I love how white makes me automatically feel 5 shades tanner.... more tan?...You get what I'm saying. And even though I love wearing white on white, I'm not exactly the most confident shorts wearer just yet so I have numerous kimonos and light wraps in my wardrobe, like this pink one, to complete the look and allow me to still feel comfortable. If you're a little self conscious about your legs and aren't super confident in your summer shorts you sh ..read more

Whimsical Bohemian Baby Girl Nursery

This is a sponsored post. All opinions expressed are my own. Ever since moving into our new home I knew my first completed project would be Caroline's room. I really think it's a compilation of my tastes as a young girl mixed with my tastes now, and now that I'm an adult I have the power to make my visions come to fruition. Luckily, many of the staple pieces in Caroline's nursery were handmade from her loving Aunties (my besties). Literally, almost everything in there was made with love and given at her baby shower. Seriously, I said this in in a previous post but can't stress enough how amaz ..read more
