Picture this—warm, glowing orange skies stretching over a deep blue ocean. The kind of scene that makes you want to kick back, soak up the sun, and maybe hum a little Beach Boys tune. ??
This is how the project went down...
First, the kids sketched out their scene—the big ol’ sun hanging over the water. No fancy details, no overthinking, just a simple sun-and-sea combo. ✏️?

What do you know about Neurographic Art? Neurographic art was founded in 2014 by Russian psychologist Pavel Piskarev. He developed it as a creative method for expressing emotions, reducing stress, and fostering new neural connections through free-flowing lines and mindful drawing. The process involves intuitive mark-making, transforming chaotic lines into interconnected shapes, and refining them into a visually harmonious composition.
Have you ever wanted to create art that not only looks amazing but also helps calm your mind? Neurographic art is the perf ..read more

Last week we explored the work of Frank Bowling, a groundbreaking British-Guyanese artist known for his expressive use of color, texture, and movement in abstract painting. Born in 1934 in Guyana, Bowling moved to London as a teenager and later studied at the Royal College of Art. Though he started with figurative painting, he quickly transitioned into abstraction, blending vibrant color fields with personal and historical references.
Bowling’s paintings are layered, dynamic, and experimental, often created by pouring, dripping, and spreading paint across the canv ..read more

This is how I stage my photos =)
It's been a while since I last made clay rattles, so I decided to revisit this lesson—and I’m so glad I did!
Here’s how we made them:
Creating the Rattle – We formed two pinch pots and set them aside.
Preparing the Beads – A week earlier, we rolled small clay beads and left them to dry completely.
Assembling – Once the pinch pots were ready, we placed several dry beads inside, then slipped and scored the edges before sealing them together.
Preventing Sticking – Wrapping the rattles in paper towels helped prevent them from ..read more
