The whole subject of spiritual pursuit can be broadly divided into two stages. The stage of acquiring knowledge and the stage of transforming knowledge into wisdom. In the Gītā parlance, the former is called the approach of Sānkhya and the latter is ..read more

The world waits for us, to serve it
Utilising every drop of blood
The humanity waits for us, to save it
From the delusions of greed
The country waits for us, to wipe it’s tears,
Having seen many betray her
Time and time, we forget this
And venture into empty world of lies
Time and time, we ignore this
And look for false sense of happiness
What lies in past or what lies in future
Should not affect what we do now
One cry of baby melts the mother’s heart
One cry of human melts a humanist’s heart
Be a human, you will live in the heart of few,
Be a humanist, you will live in the hearts of many ..read more

Hi Friends, how are you! I hope all of you and your acquaintances are staying safe in this troubling times. It is these uncontrollable times that test our inner-strength. I know most of you have enough strength to defend and support the country from any ailment. Yet, when struck by un-seen forces, our strength collapses and we seek light in any form and any intensity. It is during these times, we transform ourselves into Arjuna, who prior to the war collapsed and filled himself with melancholy, and thus we need the guidance of GOD-Krishna to take any further step. So, Gita is inevitable during ..read more

Clock ticks and the thought tricks. Amidst the busy schedule of the modern day human, the inner person yearns to seek refuge under the shade of the tree of mental peace and spiritual poise. But where do we find such symbolic trees in our lives? We are always on the run and we seldom stop to even acknowledge that we exist, let alone know that we are sentient living creatures and let alone our observation of such trees around us. Robotic is the way of our life and monotonic is the flavour of our life. The only way we can find the shade of peace in our life is when we pause for a while and escape ..read more

My new book titled “The Grandeur of Om – A Meditative APproach” is now published and is live on Amazon and Notion Press.
Book Synopsis
In the age-old tradition that has been handed to us by the highly realized vedic seers, any mantra is to be uttered only after the invocation of the mystic syllable “Om”. But, what is Om? How should it be uttered? Why should it be uttered? What is its relation to the world we live in? How is it connected to the concept of God? What are its practical uses in our daily life? Such questions are clearly answered by Mandukya Upanishad. It is a concise treatise on th ..read more

An ignorant says “God is Nowhere“, but the realized says “God is Now-Here”
– Swami Vidyāprakāśānanda Giri.
Hi! it has been a long time since we have ventured into the wild forests of God-consciousness. The reason being my own TIME was not under my control. But finally it has rewarded me with an ability to author two books* and to successfully complete my PhD (Joint doctorate from Ireland and Poland) in Quantum Physics. The same TIME has also blessed me with a baby daughter Varali who has changed my life forever! It is only now that the spiraling time has paved way for my self-exploration. Aft ..read more

STANZA-7: Saptāsyāsan paridhayah
trissapta samidhah kṛtāh /
dēvā ya dyajñaṃ tanvānāh
abadhnan puruṣaṃ paśuṃ // Import:
There are 7 boundaries for this Yajña and it requires 3×7 (21) fuel sticks to perform it. In order to expand this Yajña of creation, the dēvās have held the Puruṣa tight as a slaughter beast (paṣu), ready to sacrifice.
Explanation:
To understand this stanza, please once again refer stanza-6 (Mystic Passages – 3: Purusha Suktam (stanza 6- The Splendors of Seasons)) so as to get more clarity on basic terminology. Also, read the whole article as a unit, because it was hard for me ..read more

Stanza-6 Ya tpuruṣēṇa haviṣā
dēvā yajña matanvatā/
vasaṃtō asyāsī dājyaṃ
grīṣma idhmah śśaraddhavih// Import:
The dēvās took the puruṣa (puruṣa-1) as a fire-offering material and sacrificed him in the fire of Yajña and expanded it. At the same time, Vasanta (spring-season) became the Ghee, Grīṣma (summer-season) became the fuel stick, while the Śarad (moon-season) arranged the offering materials for the puruṣa (puruṣa-2).
Explanation:
Before embarking on stanza-6, we need to be thorough with the idea of two Puruṣas as explained in stanza-5. Let me summarize that aspect once more: Puruṣa-1 is t ..read more

Stanza-5: Tasmā dwirā ḍājāyata
virājō adhipūruṣah/
sa jātō atyaricyata
paścā dbhūmi madhō purah// Import:
From Puruṣa came a brilliant golden egg. Taking this egg as a base, Puruṣa is re-born into creation. He first entered into the west, then into the nadir and finally to the east.
Explanation:
I feel like the dosage of depth is increased in this stanza. Look at the import! What can you understand? At first sight, barely can we understand anything. But as the intuition unfolds and help of Purāṇās, Brāhmaṇās, etc., come to our rescue, we will slowly see the true import rather than the ap ..read more
