Working out can be daunting, I feel you. That’s what I felt too when I first started working out. The key is to give yourself no pressure and start small. I literally started with a 5 minute workout video and from there, I added an extra 5 minutes until I reached the phase I am now. Believe me, I was once a couch potato. Two years later, here I am working out regularly and loving it. So yes babe, it’s definitely possible! If you don’t know where to begin, I listed some of my favorite home workout videos you can follow. The good news is, most of them only take less than 10 minutes to compl ..read more

I was randomly browsing my old blog posts when I saw an article I wrote in 2019 about dealing with my biggest fashion insecurities. Back then, my biggest insecurity was exposing my arms. It was so humbling reading my 2019 post again cause that’s when I realized I’ve grown so much. Having to overcome such an insecurity is a proud moment for me. Curious of how I did it? I listed some of the things that might help you. THE FIRST TIME WILL *ALWAYS* SUCK Every freakin time. The first time I wore a dress without any sleeves was not that bad but I was so conscious of it, I wanted to melt. I ..read more

I finally had the chance to visit a selfie museum here in Edmonton called Sid’ Selfie World. Sid’s Selfie World is the home to 19 aesthetically pleasing backdrops which provides the public a fun and unique photo experience. I was amazed by the fact that it was conceptualized by a 16 year old girl, Sidney Ortlieb. I think she has an amazing vision and what she’s doing to the YEG community is inspiring.  Plaid Cami Dress (simiar) - ASOS | Mesh Sheer Top (similar) - Public Desire | Black Belt (similar) - ASOS | Coat - Zara | Scarf - Zara Of course, I came prepared. Fun Spring And Summer Outfit For 2022

It’s unlikely for people to love spring but to me, it’s my favourite time of the year. The weather is just perfect during spring time – not too warm, not too cold either. Probably my only complaint would be my allergies but I can live with that.  By now, I am already tired of wearing winter coats and toques. I may still have to wear them for a little while though as the weather isn’t that warm yet. So while it might be too early for spring fashion and shorts, there’s still no harm in trying them on. With that being said, I came up with this fun spring/summer outfit idea which you’ll sure ..read more

I’m so into anything oversized lately but if there’s one thing you’d see me wearing all the time, it’s probably my oversized shacket. A combination of a shirt and a jacket: shacket. Yep, it’s a thing. Of course, I love how modern it looks. But apart from that, it allows me to move freely or be active while still being stylish. I love a good oversized shacket and I believe it should be a staple in your closet. Sure, it can be basic but babe, that’s what I’m here for. Here are three ways to give your oversized shacket a fresh look! DRESSING DOWN If you’re opting for a more casual look ..read more

I’m about to turn 30 this May — so I’m at the point in my life where one of my goals now is to get a youthful, glowing face even without any makeup (or filter) on. I have a dry skin type so with this in mind, I tweak my routine from time to time and use products that are suitable for me. Since the weather greatly impacts my skin, I’ve come up with a day to night winter skincare routine to help with my dry skin and to make it look healthy all season long. It can be a bit overwhelming (please don’t hate me!) but it has given me the best results in just days so I can say -- it’s definitely worth ..read more

I really invest a lot of time and effort with my skincare routines because my goal is to get that youthful, glowing face even without any makeup (or filter) on. And since the weather greatly impacts my skin, I constantly tweak my routine and even try out new products from time to time. This winter, I have created a whole new day to night skincare routine which has given me great results in just days! It can be a bit overwhelming to some (please don’t hate me!) but it’s worth all the effort.  MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE I used to have a full skincare routine in the morning but being the nigh ..read more

Whenever we talk about skincare, the first thing that comes to mind is usually our face. We don’t talk about body care that often and I really think it’s just as important as taking care of our face. If anything, I honestly think it’s more important because it’s our whole body that we are talking about. Now that winter is fast approaching, I thought I’d share my body care routine using the products I’m currently loving at Sephora to make sure it's receiving all the love and care it needs. BODY SOAP Of course this is essential, no questions asked! I workout regularly and I also sweat lots ..read more

The Ultimate Gen Z Fall Fashion

Experimenting on new styles led me to Gen Z fashion. Yes, you’ve read it right. I finally gave into the Gen Z fashion. If you come to think of it, Gen Z fashion is mainly just a combination of 90s and Y2K trends which is supposedly my era but it was still not my cup of tea. At least, not the first time I saw it. I’m a 90s baby, a true blue millennial so I have a huge fascination for the 90s fashion. Y2K fashion though? Not that much. I thought that era has made a lot of questionable fashion trends and I’ve told myself not to wear any Y2K trends ever again. But here we are! With that being said ..read more

Decorating your home doesn’t need to be major. Sometimes, simple things such wall decors can already make a whole lot of difference. Now that the colder season has already begun, me and my husband decided to add some changes in our home, especially in our living room. Although we won’t be able to control the weather outside, we can certainly make our home feel cozy and warm. Thankfully, I have my indoor plants for that and just recently, we’ve added posters and prints from Poster Store to help us bring the tropics in our humble abode.  What is Poster Store? Poster Store gives you all the ..read more
