I am a chronic migraineur. If you know me and my bouts with my headaches, you know that I suffer terribly from it. I have had debilitating migraines since I was young; I have it almost every single day of my life—my migraine is almost my life. I have canceled appointments, classes, job opportunities, fun days, and many things because my migraine pains consumed me. I have had frequent visits with the doctors, popped on the pills, avoided food triggers, done several head scans before, and my head is numb to the biting cold of freezing compresses. I have tried almost everything. Nothing seemed ..read more

We think it’s going to be over soon, well, maybe not. But we are resilient people – we get up when we fall; we smile after we mourn. We know we will all come out stronger when this pandemic ends. We hope. Keeping Sane Amidst COVID19 I am a solo parent to a 3-year-old; I work from home and have to juggle many roles day ..read more

It is Holy Week. Almost a month into the Enhanced Community Quarantine, affected Filipinos have been finding ways to live their lives as usual as possible. With limited movement during the pandemic, the Filipino faithful will not be hindered in practicing their faith. COVID19, Class Suspensions, and Online LearningEarlier, my colleagues and I were discussing utilizing online classrooms and online digital resources to push through with our lessons despite the class suspensions due to COVID19. Many schools, especially in Metro Manila, have started doing this. I know that this may be one right solution to not interrupt classes and learning, but I realized that this will not be accessible to everyone.
