It's been awhile since Crosby has had his first bath with us, and he's had another since these pictures. We were so excited to give him his first bath. We got everything ready. I was ready with my camera, because I'm that person now. I take all the pictures of our dog. Sorry kids, Crosby gets all the pictures now.
We didn't know how it was going to go. He was either going to love it or hate it. Wouldn't you ..read more

Well our family grew by one furry friend!! We adopted our sweet Crosby last week! We had decided on adopting a dog, and had been looking at dogs in all the local rescues. There are so many pups that need a home. One day I was walking to the baseball fields and ran into a friend. She happens to foster for a local rescue. She told me she'd be on the look for us. A couple days later she sent me a message and said she was going to foster 4 pups and their mom. I tell you it was fate! We went over and fell in love. All the pops were ..read more

This weekend we had another tournament. Our pool games were on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. It was fun watching the team play under the lights. Emma took pictures of Max, and I was seriously impressed. Girl has skills
When your kid is on the mound it changes the game for you. I turn into a nervous wreck. Max is cool as a cucumber and I’m dying on the side watching him.
We ended up having to play Sunday morning at 8:00. Morning games our rough for our kids. The game started and we were down. Then we rallied and scored a bunch of runs. We were visitors though so ..read more

Max has played in a few tournaments this summer. With tournaments comes crowds of people. We personalized our own masks to wear...and my shirt and shoes. We had so much fun!
Emma and I were twinsies.
One of the moms took pictures for us over the weekend.
My favorite boys.
I have really loved summer baseball. Not so much the heat. It's freaking hot and humid. I don't think I'll ever get use to the Georgia humidity. We have another tournament this weekend. The kids play tonight at 7:45 and we were all, "Oh the w ..read more

4th of July didn't feel like 4th of July. All the days feel the same to me, because we do the same thing most days. One of our neighbors has a pool and invited us over. Then our neighborhood had a firework show. We socially distanced, and there weren't that many people there. It did make me nervous because those that were there were in the center of the cul de sac lighting fireworks all at once. I cringe still thinking about it.

This summer Max is playing baseball. It's been nice having some normalcy in our week. I love seeing the other parents and being able to talk and catch up. The coaches do a really good job at keeping the kids socially distanced during practices, and spray hand sanitizer to keep hands clean. We have a tournament this weekend and Ian and I personalized masks for the coaches. They came out pretty good! I'll show you a bit later! Now, for some baseball pics!
I forget why Max is laughing in this picture. I may have said, "poop".

The end of the school year came and went. We still tried to keep it the same with our end of year pictures and our end of year treat...ICE CREAM! I'm still so bummed their school year ended digitally, but I have loved being home with them. I swear the school year went slow and now that it's summer it's going by in a blink of an eye!
Some big happenings in our life. Emma lost her two top teeth. She has the cutest window grin I've ever seen. Her teeth are now growing in and she looks more grown up by the day.

Our sweet girl turned SEVEN yesterday! Her birthday looked different this year, but it was still a special day. She had a birthday parade and zoom party. Her friends are the cutest. She would have much rather had a party with her friends to play with, but being able to see them put a big smile on her face that lasted all day. I can't believe she's seven.

Ian's birthday was last Tuesday and he turned the big 3-8! I always think I should do the birthday survey with him...could you imagine?
The day started with Max and Emma getting a note for our school counselor. How sweet is that?!
We made Ian his fave cake, funfetti. Max and Emma helped make it and I swear it was the best cake yet! It came out so fluffy. I don't know if it's because we mixed it for a solid 7-10 minutes.
They loved cracking eggs. They would have cracked a whole dozen if I let them.
The cake lasted 3 days ..read more

Over the last 2 weeks we have gone on so many family walks. Life is at a change of pace. We aren't hurrying home and rushing to baseball, or coming home after a long day to work on homework. Ending the night with a quick shower and off to bed. We are enjoying our time together. Obviously, what's going on is scary and so sad. I think it's so easy to focus on the bad and worry about the unknown. I want to focus on the present. I get to spend my time with my people. We are facetiming our family. I get to hear Ian work, and I love to hear his work voice. He is so good at what he does ..read more
