September 6, 1982. Craig, Alaska. In the early morning hours of September 6th, 1982, someone boarded a fishing boat docked in Craig, Alaska and murdered everyone on board. Captain Mark Coulthurst, his pregnant wife, two children, and four crew members were killed and their remains were burned to ashes in a fire. For almost six months his girlfriend, the main witness, could not identify anyone in a photo lineup, until she saw a photo of 15 year old Evaristo Salas Jr. She was sure that he was the shooter.
