In today’s episode, Teresa discusses FMLA, Family Medical Leave Act. FMLA provides federally protected leave for eligible employees for up to 12 workweeks of unpaid leave per year and certain military family leave entitlements. FMLA applies to private sector employers who employs 50+ employees for at least 20 workweeks in the current or preceding calendar year.
