Hi there. I just wanted to take a few moments and write to those who may be struggling with addiction.  It does not matter what you are addicted to. Drugs, food, caffeine, exercise, tv, etc. Addiction is addiction. It is hard to get out of the mindset of addiction. We are creatures of habit if our addictions become our habits then our addictions start to define us.  You can tell by the way you feel, look, think, how you carry yourself, etc. The good news is just like you can break a habit, you can break an addiction. However, just like breaking a habit, breaking an addiction is hard ..read more

Hey, you with the tears streaming down their face. You with a heart feeling like it’s going to shatter into a million pieces with just the thought of a name. You who feel like your world is collapsing around you as you remember all the good times you shared with someone special. Someone who decided it was time to leave. Can you open up just for a second and read this short letter? Just long enough to pause and reflect. I know it is hard to concentrate when all you can think about is them, who they are with, and if they feel as upset as you do. Just take a deep breath and let it out. Let all t ..read more

When I first started losing weight I started by downloading an app called 30 days which had many exercise challenges. I chose 4 challenges as well as starting keto.  I researched my body type, keto recipes, kept track of my macros, ordered protein powder, and even a sweat vest to help me drop some pounds. It worked! In 5 months I had lost over 40 pounds!  My clothes started getting big and my confidence started to become noticeable once more. I was happy and ecstatic I was losing weight. However, the weight did start slowing down and I became highly depressed and went back to an old ..read more

I have always struggled with my weight. When I was a little girl I could not keep weight on me due to my low iron levels. As a teen, I was put in a facility w ..read more

You can only imagine the ups and downs that came along with constantly losing and gaining.  Going into my first facility at the age of 14 I was around 116 pounds and at 5’2 was considered an okay weight.
