Academy Training
Academy training for the younger age groups continued on Saturday afternoon at the Kerry Sports Academy at MTU. Our younger club members had a very enjoyable session of hurling including some newcomers coming along to try it out . The Academy will continue until the end of February. New players are always welcome, equipment will be supplied.

Academy Training
Academy training for the younger age groups continued on Saturday afternoon at the Kerry Sports Academy at MTU. The U7s and U9s were on first from 3-4pm and then our U11s and U13s were on from 4-5pm. The U7 group in particular saw a great attendance. These young hurlers happily breezed through the stations set up by their coaches from duck, duck, goose to bean bag catching, dribbling and shooting practice just to name a few. Academy Training
Academy training for the younger age groups continued on Saturday afternoon with a temporary change of venue to the CBS The Green. The U7s and U9s were on first from 3-4pm and then our U11s and U13s were on from 4-5pm. With an influx of new players it was a busy and energetic training session. The children finished training as always with competitive matches that were clearly enjoyed by all. Congratulations to this week's U7 player of the week George Hill, well done George.

Tralee Parnells launched their Academy season for 2023 with our U7s,U9s, u11s and U13s all togging out in the Kerry Sports Academy in MTU last Saturday afternoon, with the U7s and U9s on first from 3-4 and then our U11s and U13s on from 4-5. It was a mighty success with many enthusiastic boys & girls trying hurling for the first time. Academy Training
Our academy hurling teams were back in action last Saturday with indoor sessions at the MTU sports arena. These sessions are aimed at boys born between 2010 and 2019 who have never played before and want to try out hurling. The U7 session is also open to girls born between 2017 and 2019. Club of the year award
Thanks to the success of our juvenile teams and in particular our U15 Feile winning team, Tralee Parnells were recently named as the 2022 Kerry Coiste na nOg Club of the Year. Well done to everyone and lets keep growing our fantastic club.

Operation Transformation
As part of our Healthy Club campaign the club will be running an Operation Transformation program for all club members starting Monday January 9th. Programs include, Couch to 5k and Circuit Training suitable for all levels of fitness. There will also be some talks on nutrition. Tralee Parnells Hurling & Camogie club are now selling National Club draw tickets. All money raised will go towards the day-to-day running of the club.
