Thinking it could be related to taking 10mg Olanzapine at night as the following morning I always feel tired and fatigued throughout the day. I’ve tried coffee which works for a short while in alleviating the fatigue but it soon comes back. Does anybody else suffer from fatigue when taking Olanzapine? If so what remedies do you have to break that fatigue feeling ..read more

So I have decided that I need to start saving some money from the very little that I get. I find savings accounts pretty boring so I decided to spice it up and create an account with a broker so I can start buying and selling shares on the NZ Stock Market. To begin with I will be paying $10 a week into my account and using that to amass shares within a variety of companies. Now this may not sound like much, but its a start for me and when I get into a better financial position I can invest more money. At the moment I am focusing on one pharmaceutical company since I am a frequent user of t ..read more

So I am apparently one according to my psychiatrist. When she was explaining to me her justification for the diagnosis things started to link together, giving me a sort of closure I guess and naming something I have “suffered” with for many years. Although, I do agree with her diagnosis there are indicators in Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD) that I don’t fit into, which apparently puts me on a different end of the ASPD spectrum. Here I had a closer look at some of the signs: Signs of antisocial personality disorder A person with antisocial personality disorder may: exploit, man ..read more

Lithium makes me meh, just hovering above my body observing my life. Olanzapine makes me feel like a sack of spuds the following day. Escitalopram increases the good chemicals to help me enjoy life again. Atorvastatin stops my arteries from plaquing up and thus preventing me from dying from a heart attack or stroke. I probably forgot to mention that my latest total cholesterol level was 7.2 (Very high), whoops. Guess I best start to eat more healthy and exercise more ..read more

New Diagnosis
Living With The Unseen

Morning WordPressers! So I unexpectedly got some new diagnosis during my most recent psychiatrist appointment and they kind of make sense. My psychiatrist has also diagnosed me with Borderline Personality Disorder and Antisocial Personality Disorder (In Cluster B). When she was explaining why I had many light-bulb moments and could really relate to them. Has anybody else with bipolar have these conditions, if so how do you manage and what things have you done to help overcome them? Very curious to find out ..read more
