I rode my first race on that Paramount. It was held in a shopping center around a block of small stores that were built on a hill. A lap was less than a half mile long and it went straight up a 8% incline, then around to the back of the stores and plunged down into a tricky left/right combination that led directly into a tight U-turn into a repeat up the hill. First Race, Tulsa and Having Fun   There was a little more than 20 of us from beginners to a few that had raced at the National level.
