I had the wonderful opportunity to explore the Postal Museum Taipei on August 17, 2023, following my visit to the Taipei 2023 39th Asian International Stamp Exhibition. Situated at 45 Chong Qing South Road, Section 2, Taipei 100, this captivating museum operates from Tuesday to Sunday, welcoming visitors from 9 AM to 5 PM, with the last admission at 4:30 PM. Myanmar Post has recently initiated the closure of several small post offices in the Yangon region, marking the initial steps in streamlining operations by phasing out underutilized postal facilities. This trend is expected to continue, potentially leading to the closure of additional post offices in the near future. In 1979, UNESCO designated it as the International Year of the Child, a significant occasion marked by Burma with the issuance of two commemorative stamps on December 1st.
