If we are honest, never in a million years did we think we’d be featuring puffa jackets here on our blog. We’ve never been into the style UNTIL last year when we worked with Gap and filmed some content in their flagship London store. There nestled amongst the gorgeous knits, rows of denim and brightly coloured beanies were puffa jackets and not any old puffas. The one that caught our eyes was the leopard print. After we posted a picture yesterday on our Instagram feed and had a influx of questions about the jumper dresses we were wearing we realised that you lot are into the style as much as we are. Basically a hug in clothing form, the Jumper Dress maybe our sartorial saviour. We’ve learnt 2 things this week; the word to describe mixing two words together is a Portmanteau AND a Shacket is going to be our A/W everyday outfit staple. The portmanteau shirt + jacket aka Shacket has been bubbling away on the sartorial scene for a year or so but this year it’s set to kick The Blazers arse and overtake as the jacket of the season. Clothes shopping is different this year. With not many meetings or events to go to we’ve been concentrating on purchases that we will get our wear out of and any new additions need to really work hard with our current wardrobe to warrant the new buy.
