Whenever i try to update the Hz Rate of the screen, this happens, half of the screen turns black and the top side cintilates, it happens sometimes when im playing games. Before, i was using 165Hz and then it happened the first time, so i lowered the rate and it worked, but i cant go back to 165 ou anywhere above 120hz. I've already updated my Nvidia GTX 1650 drivers. Idk what to do :(

Hello everyone,
So I own a pre built PC off of Amazon. I bought it roughly 5 years ago. It has aged so I want to swap out and install a new gpu and ssd.
My question is hopefully a simple one. Let me preface this by saying I have 0 experience with building on my own.
Is there anything I need to take into consideration when purchasing the new GPU? I will probably put the money into a new PSU aswell but is that something I need to even worry about?
I generally overthink things and they end up being much easier but I wanted to ask before I spent the money and got myself into a bind.

Hey I tried switching my breezip to 7-zip because I didn’t like how breezip looked and i was talk 7-zip was better, now all my games reverted to blank and can’t seem to find any other zip/zar opening application. Any advice or help?

I use Linux Mint almost exclusively, but setting up modded games like Skyrim is a pain so conceded and installed windows. I have windows, mint, and Debian on the same SSD I boot from. I have another 1tb Hard Drive that I pushed everything onto to make space for windows. When trying to pull files off from that Hard Drive on windows I used Disk Manager, before remembering fat32 doesn't play well with windows so i didn't do anything with it, but i did click an option that asked for its partitioning style and it just practically formatted the entire drive without warning. I cant access the files ..read more

Sooo my computer keeps going to dell saying automatic repair then it says device ran into a problem and needs to restart and we will restart for you and it happens again and again manually restarting and turning off the computer isn't working (first time ever using Reddit just need an answer)
