The International Labour Organization (ILO), including its Vision Zero Fund, Colombian Ministry of Labour, International Coffee Organization (ICO), and Government of Huila are joining forces to launch a new campaign to promote decent conditions for all coffee workers in Colombia. A new report from Circana reveals a significant surge in global coffee consumption. The research, undertaken by the advisor on the complexity of consumer behaviour, showed total coffee servings had a 5 per cent year-over-year growth across the world. A total of 12 countries were studied as part of the report, including the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, and Brazil. Nestlé has published its three-month sales for 2024, reporting 1 per cent organic growth for Nespresso. As part of the report, Nestlé announced for Nespresso organic growth at 1 per cent, with pricing of 1.2 per cent. RIG was -0.2 per cent, which was impacted by the phasing of commercial activities. The report goes on to detail foreign exchange negatively impacting sales by 5.1 per cent, with Nespresso reported sales decreasing by 4.1 per cent to CHF 1.5 billion.
