Life is busy and we often put ourselves last. With all of our various roles and responsibilities, how can we fit in time during our day to dedicate to our physical and mental health?
There may not be time to go to the gym or attend live classes. Before we know it, our goals of healthy living and fitness slide down the list of priorities, maybe even disappearing completely.
However, the mind-body connection is strong and if we don’t dedicate time to both of these things daily, we will notice that our energy ..read more

Meditation on Exploring Comfort Zonesby Dr. Nadia
You can stay the path
Walk along the shore
dip your feet in the ocean
sail across
or explore what’s beyond the horizon
Where does your vision end?
Every day you get to decide
What if you just let yourself
be
unrestricted
free
If even for a few moments
you understood the utter possibilities
open to you
that comes from a vision unrestricted
away from self imposed restrictions
Trust the process
and know you will be just fine
Because you have everything you need.
The past, the future
None of it matters
Except where you are right now ..read more

Using the Perfect Filter & Why It Needs to Stop
by Dr. Nadia
Social media is awesome. It gives us glimpses into the lives of our friends and celebrities. It gives us ideas on how we should live and curate our lives. Additionally, it gives us hope that perfection is easy and within grasp. We capture artistic moments, get the selfie, and then use the perfect filter to improve and airbrush any imperfections. Voila!
Perfect.
Then, we sit back and watch the likes and heart emojis and feel like real winners. This filter really captures the way one should be. Nice, right?
Well, I’m gonna st ..read more

Finding Balance with Yoga and Meditationby Dr. Nadia
“…[E]veryone is a house with four rooms, a physical, a mental, an emotional and a spiritual.
Most of us tend to live in one room most of the time but, unless we go into every room every day, even if only to keep it aired, we are not a complete person.”

I am a gentle observer
and spend time with my thoughts
without judgement or fear
I will accept them
I choose to see and hear
My thoughts become ideas
and become my affirmations.
Together, they become actions
to give life to my heart’s aspirations
I will not try to contain my thoughts
Just let them be
they are like kites in the sky
colorful and free
