I'm looking for a machine to go bean to cup, preferably 2 cups at a time but not essential.
I've looked at the Breville Barista Max+ at £350 and it looks good, but I'm no expert so please help me spend my money wisely!

Yesterday I made myself some beans on toast? or is it Toast and beans?
The beans were from aldi and I have to say they were rotten tbh, all hard like undercooked fresh peas
a 7th of the price of Heinz though, but they went straight in the bin after i'd soaked all the sauce up with the toast ..read more

Dunno if a threads been done, but I thought it might be fun if we share pictures of our concoctions.
The rules are simple...you must have cooked it yourself in your own house or outdoor BBQ.
Then post a picture and ingredient list/how it was cooked, and other people can then pass (hopefully amusing) judgement, i.e, scores out of ten, with a short critique.
I'll begin, with tonights tea.. I call it the 'Turbo-charged sausage sandwich'
It's a sausage (oven cooked) sandwich with mayo...

Has anyone else found that butter - even the good stuff is rock hard - It never used to be and sticking it on your toast was easy - Now I have to put a lump on one slice then put next slice on top to try and melt the butter. - I can sharpen the knives on it.
We have tried a few other good brands as well as Lidl and Aldi and all seem to be the same - What have the makers taken out to save money.
We normally have Kerrygold ..read more

I'm looking to buy some Olde English Malt Liqour, 40oz for a friends 40th
Can only find one seller who has it by the case (and annoyingly their German website has it by the single bottle but won't ship)
Can be another 40oz beer, but OE preferred, mixed results on google if the 40s are still in production, glass ideally but plastic would do too.
Anyone seen anything like that here ..read more

I'm looking for a toaster that is:
2 slots
Long enough for the ocassional bakery sourdough
Deep enough for most supermarket loaves
Stainless steel ideally
It seems like most toasters either just do long and shallow height, or small square thick toastie-style slices ..read more
