We traveled to suburban Kansas City last weekend for Michael and Kayla’s wedding at the Union Horse Distilling Company. Their day was a testament to the idea that simplicity and intimacy can create unforgettable moments. Noah and Maddie have a flair for the dramatic and enjoy tugging on people’s emotions. They are both big into theater, of course. Their wedding day was no different. A powerhouse team of wedding vendors got together last month for a styled shoot at one of the area’s new and exciting wedding venues—The Midnight Gem in Swisher, Iowa. The result? Two days after Thanksgiving, we spent the day with Ethan and Megan for their wedding at the Celebration Farm just outside of Iowa City.
