The Dream Recovery System
by James Cobb

Q: As of last week, I used to dream every night, sometimes having several dreams in the night. Last week I spent a night in a terrible hotel. The bed was lumpy and the room was noisy. In many ways, dreams can tip us off as to what’s going on in our bodies. They can serve a similar role to that of a warning panel on a car. You should be having them regularly, especially if you were before this night. There could be a lot of r ..read more

Aha Moments In the Middle of the Night
The Dream Recovery System
by James Cobb
1M ago
Sometimes dreams will give you vague pictures and a rough outline that something’s going on. You wake up, no idea what the dream was. Then, minutes later, an idea occurs. You come to a new understanding. You put the pieces together. Not a dream Technically, that’s not a dream. You’re in none of the stages of the sleep cycle. You’re not asleep. Yet this “new understanding” this aha moment has to be related to sleep and dreaming because of the actions that surround it. You were asleep. You’re up, awake briefly, and then you return to sleep. Dreams are implicated in consolidating information. Per ..read more

Reduce Back Pain By Paying Attention To Bedroom Usage Patterns
The Dream Recovery System
by James Cobb
2M ago
There’s not a whole lot of creativity or originality when it comes to the way different people sit in a room. Everyone tends to do the same thing. They favor the same chairs and the same places. Choices are dictated by the unchanging features of the room like the placement of the bathroom, walls, the windows, where one would naturally set up a laptop to work, and the television. Over time, this leads to wear and tear in some areas of the room more than others. Sleep in a bed that’s been worn in this way can give you intense back pain.
