What led you into wanting to become a massage therapist?
I worked for a long time at The Body Shop: for a few years I was the Community Projects Coordinator and Company Trainer. I set up various projects in and around London for the staff to volunteer at. One of them was Holloway Prison where I attended this project once a month for around five years. One day, as I was massaging someone’s hands, I thought ‘I haven’t a clue what I’m doing’ and there it began. The last 35 years have been spent training, retraining, teaching and, of course, practising.

What led you to become a chiropractor?
I was inspired by a chiropractor from an early age and as a Junior Rower with back problems, I’ve experienced the difference chiropractic makes to daily life and functional potential.
I’m passionate about making a difference. I believe that using a variety of tools is the best approach to aid a patient including manual adjustments, massage, muscle release, exercise, dry needling, muscle testing, kinesiology taping, yogic techniques and rehabilitation advice. I want to heal patients as quickly as possible and believe that with the right treatment programme ..read more

That afternoon changed my life, seeing the difference chiropractic can make without medication or surgery, bringing a smile back to people in clear pain was a clear career choice that excited me.

What led you to become a physiotherapist?
Physiotherapist Giuseppe Salustri
I always been driven by the passion to help people overcoming pain or injuries allowing them to live the life they deserve.
The first time I saw a Physiotherapist practicing was at the age of sixteen when my eldest brother was involved in a serious car accident. I witnessed his recovery from day 1 and despite my young age I was amazed about the ability of the human body to recover its functions through the help of a physiotherapist.

Everyone is doing their bit during these turbulent times and working from home is probably taking its toll throughout the spine – neck stiffness, pressure on the lower back, pinching in the hips and tightening through the chest and shoulders.
We’ve all heard of the straw that broke the camels back and this is commonly the case for back related pain.
We all get aches and pains that come from holding a position which the body is not prepared for and it’s usually something as simple as ‘posture and habit’ that brings a patient in to see the chiropractor.
We are just as frustrated as you that we c ..read more
