Disney Cruise Line has updated their website to state that fully vaccinated guests will not longer be required to submit COVID-19 test results prior to sailing beginning September 23, 2022. This will be for all Disney Cruise ships except the Disney Magic. The Disney Magic will drop testing requiring for vaccinated guests beginning November 7, 2022. Currently, guests sailing with Disney Cruise Line must submit proof of negative COVID-19 test prior to sailing through the Safe Passage website. A letter from Norwegian Cruise Lines was just sent to all cruisers booked on their ship set to sail in July 2023, the Norwegian Viva, sister ship to the Prima. The letter states that sailings from July 3, 2023 through August 17, 2023 on The Viva have been canceled due to supply chain issues. This is the second ship in as many years from Norwegian that has been affected in this way. The Prima, had to cancel its inaugural sailings this year due to the same issues. Disney’s newest ship. The first of three of the Triton class ships was christened today at its home port of Port Canaveral. In a tradition dating back to the vikings, the Disney Wish had its christening ceremony. Granted, back in the Vikings Day, it was christened with blood.
