Today, the PA House Judiciary Committee passed, by a 12-9 party-line vote, several bills that would have a chilling effect on individual freedoms and lead to weaponizing the current cancel culture.
“This is some of the most dangerous pieces of legislation that I’ve ever seen,” states Judge Cheryl Allen, former Superior Court Judge with 25 years of judicial experience in Pennsylvania’s court system. “This new package of bills has the potential to completely cancel an individual and weaponize the criminal court system.”

Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta’s House Bill 300 would make significant changes to Pennsylvania state law that would impact everyone, particularly in areas of religious freedom and privacy rights. Democrat leaders rushed this bill through the process in the PA House of Representatives, going from its introduction to being amended twice, passing by a narrow margin and sent to the PA Senate, all in just two weeks time.
When a bill reaches the floor for a final vote, the prime sponsor of the bill typically speaks at the beginning and end of debate to advocate for passage of their bill.Yet Rep. Kenyatta (D ..read more

There’s no ‘off-year’ election: Honor God with your vote.
God cares about children, schools, parents, and righteousness, and so should we. In Proverbs 29:2 God declares, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” (KJV).
Some consider 2023 to be an “off-year” municipal election, with no governor or presidential race at the top of the ballot. Historically, just one in four registered Pennsylvania voters will vote in a primary municipal election – and that’s a “good” turnout.
Every election matters. This year’s ..read more

The House roll call was nearly party-line. Two Republicans voted for House Bill 300: Rep. Aaron Kaufer and Rep. Alec Ryncavage, both representing districts in Luzerne County. One Democrat voted against the bill, Rep. Frank Burns (Cambria).

(HARRISBURG – May 2, 2023) — Today, the PA House of Representatives voted to pass House Bill 300 by a narrow 102-98 vote, a bill that would cause significant harm to Pennsylvanians across our Commonwealth, particularly in areas of religious freedom and privacy rights. The bill now moves to the PA State Senate.
“It’s troubling to see the PA House prioritize a bill like Rep. Kenyatta’s HB300 because it would hurt good people and ministries in Pennsylvania,” says Alexis Sneller, Policy Analyst at Pennsylvania Family Council. “This one bill, passed by a narrow margin, would force conformity t ..read more

House Bill 300, now being considered in the PA House of Representatives, would give a cause of action to sue religious ministries, schools & churches who hire based on church teachings and their shared mission. What’s worse, the bill makers removed nearly all of the already limited religious liberty protections in the original bill.
Not only was the amendment process used potentially unconstitutional for going against PA House rules, but this new amendment to House Bill 300 (HB300) does not solve the religious liberty crisis for churches and religious schools.  ..read more

If you haven’t heard yet about the bill being fast-tracked by some PA House Democrats that would “redefine freedom” you need to read this full post. While makers of the bill attempt to claim it’s a simple bill, the reality is it would create a host of negative consequences.
Here are just three of those consequences, as said by co-sponsors of the legislation.
1. HB300 would force doctors to prescribe puberty blockers and perform “sex-reassignment” surgeries.
