Long before the Russian retaliation of February 2022 against the shelling of the predominantly ethnic Russian Donbas, before the British arming and training of Ukraine forces (including openly Nazi militia) and before the fanatical tub thumping of Boris Johnson, the British public had made their opposition to war in Ukraine very clear:
Although they were never allowed to know the truth about the 20 year expansion of NATO and the EU to the East, (moving in Ukraine to the heart of Historic Russian land) the British people’s instincts were sound. There is no doubt that they were also well aware ..read more

On May 2, 2014, heavily-armed fascist militia forces attacked the House of Trade Unions in Odessa, Ukraine. Trapped inside were demonstrators opposed to the government in Kiev that had been put in place in a U.S.-orchestrated coup against the democratically elected government just weeks earlier. A campaign of ethnic cleansing had been launched against Russian-speaking Ukrainians, with the Russian language being banned from public life.
In the aftermath of the attack and fire 48 deaths were confirmed. Openly nazi militia shelled civilians in the oblasts of Luhansk and Donetsk (now not surprisin ..read more

The West’s Ukrainian proxy war against Russia continues to go badly with Russian advances on all fronts and big Ukrainian troop losses. Even worse, those who are the most belligerent political leaders (Biden, Macron and Sunak) are losing votes at home. French President Macron lost extremely badly in the European elections with the National Rally garnering twice as many votes as Macron’s Renaissance party. This has led to Macron calling a snap general election and there is talk of his resignation as President if he does not win!

The Reform Party (now headed by Nigel Farage) has many good policies which should appeal to left right and centre but it ruins them with dangerous warmongering and policies which display a naivety about elections and support for the unreformable!
THE BAD:
They propose Net zero immigration which is an improvement on the other parties but seem willing to accept that migrants can keep coming so long as British people keep leaving – hence the “net zero”!!
By refusing to stand down in all seats regardless of the track record of individual MPs the party eliminates critical future parliamentary alli ..read more

After the Russian incursion into Kharkiv province the Ukrainian intelligence chief Budanov admitted in an interview with the New York Times that: “All our troops are now either in Kharkov or in Chasov Yar. I used everything we have. Unfortunately, we don’t have anyone left in reserve,”
The French news agency AFP reported on Russia’s push into Kharkov:
The Ukrainian army is struggling to line up 250K men on the front line. “In all the brigades, there is a 40% shortage of personnel,”
A Ukrainian officer admits:
“We are facing a wave of desertion among young conscripts,”

Ukraine has suffered troop losses of between 400 and 500,000 and Russian troops are advancing with increasing rapidity on all fronts. Arkhangelskoye and Kotlyarivka have been taken by Russian troops and the critical strategic town of Chasov Yar is about to fall. Even where Ukrainian troops had some success in breaking through at Rabotino in the Zaporizhzhia region they are now in retreat.
Particular progress is made in western Donetsk with retreating Ukrainian troops unable to establish new defensive lines quickly enough and newly mobilised troops no match for the Russian army.

The Corporatist, Statist distortions of economy and democracy I identified in this paper are as relevant today as they were in 1984. Monetarism has now fallen out of fashion and the exact opposite (“quantitative easing”) is deemed both wise and without consequences. But there are serious consequences; inflation, capital erosion, business failures, a sclerotic economy and another era of misallocated investment, unjustified rewards and a massive democratic deficit. The monopoly coal and steel industries have been replaced by exploitative utilities, health, rail and postal “services” while the p ..read more

It is too early to judge the obscene Crocus City massacre as evidence has still to be collected from the captured perpetrators, their enablers and captured phones but it does not look like a typical Islamic State operation. Freenations will cover it soon.
In the Russian elections Vladimir Putin got 87% of the vote on a 77.44% turnout (UK general elections since 2001 have averaged 64%).
The main opposition in Russia to Putin are the communists, who got 4.31% of the vote – about the same level achieved in opinion polls by the late western sponsored Navalny. Although electorally weak the C ..read more

While the US publication Foreign Policy accepts Putin’s case on non NATO Ukraine and concedes that Russia cares more for Ukraine than the West there is great dissension within the western alliance. Jens Stoltenberg speaking at Sweden’s NATO membership ceremony continues the war rhetoric:
Surrender is not a peaceful solution. We need to keep making Ukraine strong. We need to show Putin that he won’t get what he wants on the battlefield.
But a French military report leaked to the French media claims the opposite:

The TUCKER CARLSON interview with MIKE BENZ (here summarised with commentary) is probably the greatest expose of the activities of that globalist corporatism which is destroying democratic nations, provoking war abroad and a totalitarian war against their own people at home – hand in glove with the modern high tech industries and the old “legacy” media. The link to the full interview is at the bottom of this article.
Mike Benz had the cyber portfolio at the US State Department. He’s now executive director of the Foundation for Freedom Online. Benz points out that three developments were criti ..read more
