The gardening season is finally upon us again. It’s a hobby that I love more and more every year. It’s something about watching the tiny seeds grow into a big plant that you later on can harvest vegetables or flowers from. Like always, I find the planning part the most exciting. Making drawings, dreaming, writing down ideas and reading notes from last year. It is so exciting!  Every year you learn a lot of new things. Things that you take with you into the new year. What worked and what didn’t? What are you going to do differently this time around?   One thing I have learned is to no ..read more

I love to bake bread. It takes a lot of time and effort to become a true professional, but the beautiful thing about bread is that even if you’re a beginner and your bread rolls are uneven and ugly, it still tastes amazing.  I don’t mind if it takes time to bake bread, and most... I really can’t get enough of nature during this time of year. The lush greens and the flowers always leave me completely stunned. It’s so beautiful and I want to capture everything, bottle it and save it forever. If only you could do that. Or maybe we wouldn’t appreciate it as much if we did?... Read More ..read more

It’s officially spring, which means it’s time to start sowing and preparing for this year’s gardening season. This year I decided to start a little later than usual, I’ve been too early previous years and because of that the tiny plants have had to wait way too long before being planted outdoors. In other words,... Read More ..read more

By the end of last year, we decided that we needed to change how we spent our time. We had spent so many hours in different playgrounds and everyone started to really dislike it, even the kiddos. We were all tired of it and to be honest, none of us looked forward to going outside... Read More ..read more

Cinnamon buns are my forever favorite thing to bake (and eat!) and I try to always have a bag of them in the freezer. They are perfect to bring on any outdoor adventure, or just enjoy with a cup of coffee at home when you want something delicious.  However, it’s nice to try new things... Read More ..read more

Before we had kids we went on a few hiking trips and loved it. We went on a 5 day long hike in the Norwegian wilderness, on shorter hiking trips in Sweden and one in Lofoten, Norway. One of the best things about moving away from Stockholm is that we have better access to different... Read More ..read more

A Slow Christmas

Slow living is a lot about living more intentional. To value the simple things in life and to steer away from the work more-earn more-buy more merry-go-round. Christmas is, for many, a holiday where more is more and it’s a competition of who got the best/most expensive/the most Christmas gifts, who had the biggest Christmas... Read More ..read more

It has indeed been very silent here lately. Much, of course, because the birth of our second son, William, in May <3 We have spent lots of time getting to know our new family member, and watching Adam become the most wonderful big brother. It has been the most lovely three months, but I have... Read More ..read more

Easter is around the corner and what could be better than baking something delicious to celebrate? We usually don’t do that much for this holiday, but an egg hunt for Adam is of course planned. Otherwise – meeting family and enjoying some good food, I don’t need much more than that.  I have a feeling... Read More ..read more
