The emergence of Coronavirus (COVID-19) is having an unprecedented impact on organisations across the globe, with necessary government lockdown protocols putting huge pressures on businesses’ working capital and strict operating procedures changing the way we continue to work. How Has MSite Responded? When the outbreak began in the UK, the first government guidelines advised us all to maintain good personal hygiene and regularly wash our hands for 20 seconds (whilst singing Happy Birthday!). To help raise awareness of this advice, we adapted the MSite system so all of the MSite fingerprint rea ..read more

It is virtually impossible to avoid contact with the many everyday communal objects we come across in our daily lives; but there are measures that can be taken to help reduce the chance of catching or spreading the virus. The symptoms are similar to other illnesses ..read more

Here we take a closer look at how MSite software can help overcome this challenge through accreditation validation and access ..read more

Earlier this year MSite worked with Build UK to produce a new MSite SmartCard Audit Report. Aiming to increase the uptake of smart technology in the construction industry by demonstrating how it can benefit businesses and supply chains, the audit sought to identify any expired or fraudulent cards. People were able to complete the audit at the click of a button, with biometrically accurate certainty. MSite’s CSCS integration additionally checked all CSCS, CPCS and CISRS cards for validity. Being sure of a card’s validity and authenticity is a sure-fire way to ensure that the worker who holds th ..read more

Earlier this year we added a new feature, Roll Call, to the MSite Mobile app that allows construction site managers to run a roll call report on their mobile phone. This development has proven to be a welcome addition to the MSite biometric workforce management system. The new tool enables managers to quickly see who is on site during an evacuation on their mobile device. The site manager can then mark people as ‘Off Site’ one by one as they confirm they are at the muster point. The new time-saving feature has been well received by MSite customers, as it digitises a previously paper-based proc ..read more
