100 days ago was the 10th March. It feels like a whole lifetime away doesn't it? In these 100 days we’ve managed a few things. No biggies or anything. Just like, finally getting a divorce certificate after lots of wrangling, bought a fucking house, and gotten through a worldwide viral pandemic straight out of a movie script. Also the dreaaaam trip to Patagonia was cancelled, school holidays are now non-existent, and there are currently more animals than humans living in our home. Haven’t really ever addressed it, but yes I’m divorced post-Singapore. It’s taken a couple of years to get to this point but the here and now is this. I’m happily divorced. Very happily actually, life works itself out even when you have zero belief that it ever will. Any scare stories about being a sad, single, mum and woman if you dare to take control over your life again are completely unfounded. COMPLETELY.
