I'm pretty sure it's Instacart, but is anyone else continuously getting asked for help to find a specific product by them? I always love helping guests because it feels like a nice break from my daily tasks, but these Instacart shoppers don't want help with just one item—they want you to walk around the whole store with them to finish their entire list. And to top it off, 90% of them don't speak English, so I have trouble understanding them, and it just takes forever.

I'm autistic and I set up my register a specific way and I clean it a specific way.
I HATE when I'm at my register and someone goes on lunch and my leader makes me move to their register with no time to set up anything or move my stuff and I'm using a dirty register which that persons germs.
They will have us move multiple times throughout the day and it seems pointless. Anyone else have to do this?

I feel like I learn more about target policies by shopping at Target then on the job. When I looked at my receipt when I was leaving today I saw there was a reusable bag discount added. It was only 15 cents but still I haven’t been giving this discount to customers. I’m not supposed to be a cashier but I’ve been on register a lot lately. I just feel bad that I didn’t know this existed :( I watched the training videos but it’s been a month and I forgot some of the info in them
Anything else I should know as a cashier here?

At guest service this lady comes up and says she has a car seat to trade it but doesn’t know how to do it. I tell her that she can drop it off in the bin and scan the QR code to save the offer in the app. Well she says she doesn’t have the app, and I tell her it’s an offer only for circle members to which she says “well that’s discriminatory” then asks for a TL (Btw I’m a poc so I found her word choice definitely interesting). Downloading the app and getting the offer takes less than 5 mins bruh.

I’m be honest I worked at mom and pop places my whole life (I’m 20)
I genuinely can’t understand how heartless my tls and Etl are
I got 2 convo with my first 90 days
My first convo was that I didn’t listen to my leader when they didn’t explain the directions to me
My second convo was “questioning” what the leaders said. All I said was I’ll go but u sure u need me there.
Later after I spoke to my etl about both my convo for guidance about both issues
Etl for the first convo : u should ask more questions to ur tl
Etl for the second convo: u should never question ur tl
After that convo I wasn’t ..read more
