I thought with the new pay structure ( so I heard) they weren't able to deduct pay if you were to change from department to department. Meaning, I went from cap 1 to opd for 2 weeks (waiting for a deli position to open) no pay change whatsoever. From opd to deli pay went up almost 2 whole dollars. So it seems our HR is either misinformed or lying about PPTO use on Key Event Dates. I’m hoping it’s the latter as I want to give people benefit of the doubt… Anyway, from searching through here, PPTO if applied correctly does cover all points if you’ve also called out. HR is telling new hires that even if you follow this procedure and use your PPTO correctly, you’ll still receive two points for it being a Key Event Date.
