The Casual Clothes I Keep Getting Asked About
That’s So Pretty

When it started looking like Melbourne was going to be allowed out of lockdown, I decided I needed a nice casual clothes update. I bought some pieces from Basic State and I kid you not, every single time I have worn them, I have been asked about them. I wanted some nice, complete outfits for my day-to-day attire that would look a bit more put together than the mismatched pieces I’d been slothing around in at home during the restrictions, and I’m guessing a heap of other women are looking for the same thing. If Basic State isn’t on your radar, they’re an online store that specialises in every ..read more

My Hair Favourites
That’s So Pretty

I often get asked whether I style my own hair (yes, usually) and what I use to create waves. I have tried a LOT of products and tools over the years and I have recently found my favourite ‘go to’ products for care and styling, so today I’m sharing what I do- from start to finish. 1. Colour A few years ago I would always request a creamy blonde with no warmth in it. Then I realised as I got older that some warmth/golden tones actually look better on me as a head full of cool tones can be ageing. If you’re a blonde and you live in Melbourne, I highly recommend heading to Elliott Steele Hair as ..read more

That’s So Pretty

Today I’m sharing some of the images from our recent maternity/family photoshoot with Nicole Pas. There’s nothing I adore more than family photos- I cherish them now and I know that as we all grow older I’ll treasure them even more. I’ve never booked maternity shoots in the past and with this being our last pregnancy, and with this baby being the final piece in our family puzzle, I’m really glad we captured this moment in time. I love that all the images aren’t super posey- Nicole captured the bump beautifully but also got images of candid moments like Poppy picking a flower and twirling ..read more

I thought I’d write a little update on this pregnancy seeing as it’s getting to the pointy end of things now. This experience has been so vastly different to my previous pregnancies but right now I do feel prepared. I’m listing all of the things I am doing differently this time around as well as the products I have been using throughout this trimester and those I’m looking forward to having on hand when our new baby arrives. What I’ve Added to my Hospital bag (make that bagS) I know there’s a million lists online about what to pack and they overwhelm me a little so I’m just following the list ..read more

It’s a year where most of us cannot be with our beloved mum in person to celebrate all they do/have done for us and to show them how appreciated they are. If you’re a mum, then its unlikely you’ll be treated to a high tea or restaurant lunch on the 10th of May, as we all continue to isolate and stay home for the greater good. As gifting this year will not be an in-person experience, a lot of us will be turning to online shopping in order to send something special to significant women in our lives. I love tracking down the perfect gift so I thought I’d put together a little gift guide with clic ..read more

This morning we were invited by Coles Supermarkets to the launch of their new initiative, the Coles Fresh 5 Challenge, a healthy eating program aimed at Aussie kids. Whilst we were there, there was also an announcement of a new, three year partnership between Coles and the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation. The children got to pick, cook and eat with Stephanie Alexander and Curtis Stone, and afterwards I sat down to have a chat with these Aussie favourites to ask them some questions about cooking with and for children. Coles has just launched the Coles Fresh 5 Challenge.Cook ..read more
