Assist Church Expansion was formed in 2017 when Nathan Bryant was encouraged to combine his long-time Charis Fellowship church planting initiatives in Canada with efforts in the U.S. They serve churches within the Fellowship through planting, expanding, and revitalizing. Continue to pray for Don Rough, retired Charis Fellowship pastor, as he recovers from COVID. He celebrated his 87th birthday this week with a scheduled move to a personal care home. Here’s an update from his son, Tim. Update on our precious Dad, Pastor Don Rough, Saturday August 7, 2021, 4 pm. As before, we have not been giving day by day updates, as there is little news from one day to the next. Dad continues to make very slow progress. The memorial service for Ephraim Blair, who died unexpectedly on January 26, 2021, have been set for Thursday, February 4 at 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (4 p.m. Eastern) at Preston Trail Community Church, Frisco, Tex. In a recent newsletter, Jack Brown, executive director of Grow New England, mentioned Peter and Laura LeDuc. The couple are native New Englanders from the state of New Hampshire. We’ve taken note of the recent newsletter from Orrin and Kara Witt, who are leading a restart of a Charis Fellowship church in Lakeland, Fla.
