What on earth is Black Mud Heijingang mud and is it bonafide? Bunch of Amazon sellers are marketing the "new" black mud yixing teapots claiming its sourced and made in yixing china but fail to provide me with any other information than that. Hi all, I wonder if what is different between fuerh tea and liu bao tea? In my opportunity, both kind of tea not much different, aroma and taste. Can you describe your feeling about 2 kinds of tea? Many thanks. Both Fu'erh tea and Liu Bao tea originate from China and share similarities in aroma and taste. However, there are subtle differences between them. Fu'erh tea typically has a smoother and mellower taste, while Liu Bao tea tends to have a richer and more robust flavor profile with earthy undertones. Both teas offer unique experiences worth exploring! Statistics: Posted by GudrunHelga ..read more

Greetings friends, new here but a long time Tea connoisseur. Upon my recent search for an authentic Yixing Purple or Red Zisha clay Teapot I stumbled upon a type of Yixing pot made from Black Mud Heijingang clay on Amazon.com. Upon inquiring the seller was incredibly vague and gave me absolutely very contradictive statements regarding the authenticity of this sort of Teapot production. I am curious if any of you know if this type of clay does indeed come from Yixing China and if it offers any substantial benefits that of an authentic purple or red zisha clay? Here are a few pictures of what th ..read more

Both pretty distinct in their own ways, despite some similarities. Fuerh tends to have a stronger and bolder flavor profile, while Liu Bao has a more mellow and smoother taste. If you're into intense flavors, go for Fuerh; if you prefer something more subtle, Liu Bao might be your jam. Personally, I dig Fuerh for its robustness, but Liu Bao hits the spot when I'm after a more laid-back vibe. Give both a try and see which one floats your boat! Cheers! Ken Kang.jpg Try a mix of high-iron clay and a glaze containing lithium carbonate or magnesium carbonate. These ingredients often contribute to that kind of surface texture. Also, consider adjusting your firing schedule to enhance the crawling effect. Statistics: Posted by RadiantRover — Apr 19th 24 2:08 am ..read more
