Dry Etch Toolsets, which equipment manufacturer is better?

From what I have seen, TEL, LAM, and AMAT are the lead manufacturers for Dry Etch equipment. Etch (RIE) Platforms: • TEL - Tactras • LAM - Kiyo Which is a better etch platform, Tactras or Kiyo, for reliability, PM work, and troubleshooting. I have just started working on these two toolsets. I have previous experience on Etch toolsets like the Telius platform. Any info would be appreciated on here or in DM me. submitted by /u/Interesting-Talk-678 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I am panicking now, still hopeful but fearful as well. I was hoping to sell it at 230. I read somewhere its overvalued , and should be priced at 203. Thoughts please? submitted by /u/Comprehensive-Quit73 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Question regarding remove photoresist on wafer after dicing

Hello subreddit! I am currently involved in a project that requires me to dicing my wafer to smaller die (for AFM purposes). When doing dicing, the vendor coats the wafer with a photoresist layer to protect it. I need to remove this layer cause I will do some optical metrology and AFM on the sample. I try this process: Acetone 10 min gently shaking => IPA 10 min shaking => ID water => Ni dry blow. After this process, there is a lot of contamination on the pattern ( Cullum copper patterns ) Is there any proper way to solve this problem? Hope to hear from you guy soon ! Thank you. http ..read more

I work in a company owned by my family that manufactures and sells products related to semiconductors in China, I wonder how will the future be like for this industry in China? I just graduated and got my master of finance degree in the U.S., since it's extremely competitive to get a finance related job in China, my family suggested me to, with the support from their firm, start my own company that manufactures and sells inverter, frequency converter, inverter parts and any industry control related products. I am curious about the possibilities that I can see my self work in this industry for ..read more

Design, maintenance and demolition of fab structures or critical infrastructure. I understand that a lot of players in the space outsource those services but if there places that have in house teams in regards to specific areas that could be not be outsourced and a niche I would like to hear more about it. submitted by /u/bearded_mischief [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
