During festive preparations as the football captured many of us, I have stayed focussed on my own goal. I reflected on how people look for support, when times are hard. Home comforts fill you with warmth as it gets cold outside, especially in the run up to Christmas this year! Friday 11th November was the first time in over 3 years that we were able to meet up with business friends of the charity and this was no ordinary Gala Ball! In its 10th year, Val Huxley was celebrating organising her last ball as Chief Executive Officer, ready to pass on the baton of leadership of the charity to her new colleague and CEO Belinda Wadsworth.
