Online summer camps for children are not always a depressing substitute for the “real” thing. Kids can engage in a lot of the same activities they would in online summer camps. They can enhance their academic performance, meet new people, and discover interesting things.
Online courses may offer a slight advantage over on-site camps in specific situations. Thanks to self-paced lessons, one-on-one counselling sessions, and knowledgeable teachers, children can benefit from learning chances they wouldn’t otherwise have. Additionally, most virtual camps—but not all are less expensive than convent ..read more

The idea of the project was to create a useful and commercial product for winter sport enthusiasts. We both love skiing so we wanted a product that could provide us with information and a way to visualize our skiing behaviors. The initial idea that we wanted to create was a skiing HUD with responsive voice feedback. We quickly realized that this project would not be reasonable with the time constraints that we had. However the motivation behind the project remained the same. We therefore decided on the idea of a data logging device that could be paired with a MicroSD card and a python script t ..read more

Microchip’s Digital Pure Sine Wave Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Reference Design is based on the dsPIC33F “GS” series of digital-power Digital Signal Controllers (DSCs). This reference design demonstrates how digital-power techniques when applied to UPS applications enable easy modifications through software, the use of smaller magnetics, intelligent battery charging, higher efficiency, compact designs, reduction in audible and electrical noise via a purer sine-wave output, USB communication and low-cost overall bill-of-materials. This reference design is Royalty Free. This project conta ..read more

In the future, technology will be free, renewable energy will be abundant, and we’ll all live in space. Technology is constantly evolving, which means that it is difficult to predict what the future holds. That doesn’t mean we can’t speculate about it. Here are some of the top innovations for 2022 and beyond.
Internet of Things (IoT)
The Internet of Things is expected to revolutionize just about every aspect of our lives. Everything from our cars to our homes will be connected through an api gateway. Instead of just having devices such as refrigerators and TVs connected to the Internet, these ..read more

In this age of social media and the internet, it is easy to forget the power of the humble text message. An email can end up in the spam or junk folder. The advert on Twitter or Facebook can just be scrolled past, but if a text is received on the cell phone, it will more than likely be read. A text message is more personal.
Popularity of Text
Today, SMS (Short Message Service) is the most widely-used data application in the world, with 81% of cell phone subscribers using it.
Research from Gartner suggests that 70% to 98% of text messages are read, while only 20% of emails are read, and the re ..read more
